About the event
As government operations become increasingly complex, the potential risks—ranging from cybersecurity threats to policy shifts—are ever-present. Poor risk management can lead to disruptions in public service delivery, loss of public trust, financial losses, and regulatory non-compliance. Government professionals must be equipped with the tools, frameworks, and strategies necessary to proactively manage and mitigate these risks while ensuring transparency and accountability.
In this workshop attendees will enhance their capabilities to:
-
Understand the fundamental concepts of risk management within the context of government operations.
-
Develop skills to identify, assess, and mitigate risks that impact government projects, programs, and public service delivery.
-
Learn how to implement effective risk management frameworks and strategies tailored to the public sector.
-
Equip government leaders with tools to enhance decision-making, compliance, and accountability while managing risk.
