About the event

Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is the key to unlocking success in the modern workplace. In today's fast-paced and interconnected world, technical skills alone are not sufficient to thrive professionally. Employers increasingly recognise the vital importance of Emotional Intelligence in fostering effective leadership, enhancing teamwork, and driving organisational success.

This program is designed to equip you with the tools and strategies necessary to cultivate and leverage your Emotional Intelligence in the workplace. We'll explore the fundamental components of EQ, including self-awareness, self-regulation, social awareness, and relationship management. Through interactive lessons, practical exercises, you'll learn how to navigate challenging situations, manage conflict constructively, and build strong, meaningful connections with colleagues and clients.

In this workshop attendees will enhance their capabilities to:

  • Adopt and apply EQ competencies in life and the workplace

  • Become self-aware and to self-regulate

  • Develop strong relationships with team members

  • Thrive as a leader driving a EQ centric leadership style and team culture

  • MSCEIT profile and one-on-one EQ Coaching debrief valued at $649

Lynsey Allison

Director of LA Potential

Lynsey is an Executive Coach and Leadership Development Facilitator with over 20 years of experience working for a range of organisations in various leadership and operational roles, in both the UK and Australia. Lynsey has a depth of knowledge across human resources, specialising in learning and development, organisational coaching, leadership development, talent management, psychological assessment, change management and organisational development. Lynsey it a MSCEIT accredited facilitator.

During her career, Lynsey has worked with a number of diverse private and public organisations including global and boutique People Consultancies, IT Software, FMCG, State Government, logistics, Insurance, Pharmaceutical and Construction. Following a successful leadership career, Lynsey became an Executive Coach 12 years ago and has coached leaders at all levels from front line to c-suite. Lynsey is currently coaching senior leaders in the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom. She also facilitates leadership development programs in Australia, including a Women in Leadership program and a Courageous Leadership program. Lynsey also delivers mental health first aid training, Strengths workshops and Adaptability workshops.

Lynsey has completed two psychology degrees, including a Bachelor Degree (Honours) in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Coaching Psychology, incorporating both coaching psychology and positive psychology into her coaching approach. Lynsey is passionate about working with leaders to identify and leverage their strengths, develop their leadership potential and achieve their leadership goals in a sustainable way with high performance and high wellbeing. Lynsey has provided extensive 360 feedback sessions and strengths coaching using Gallup Strengths Finder and the Strengths Profile. Lynsey also facilitates virtual and face to face assessment centres for large Australian organisations.

Lynsey has two current businesses including a coaching psychology business and a leadership development consultancy. She is also undergoing supervision to become a Chartered Coaching Psychologist through the British Psychological Society.

With a lifelong love of learning, Lynsey is a Certified Meta-Coach, an accredited Strengths, Mental Toughness and Adaptability Coach, Team & Group Coach, Prosci Change Management practitioner and a Mental Health First Aid Instructor.

In her personal life, she is a fur-baby Mum with a number of horses, dogs and other animals to take care of. She loves horse riding, adventure, travel, being outdoors and staying active.
